Known as one of the most amazing convention campuses in the country, the Atlanta Convention Campus has plenty to offer. It’s more than just a top destination for meetings and trade shows. Not only is this the world’s largest LEED Gold-certified convention center campus, but it’s also a rather unique place.

The convention center is called the Georgia World Congress Center Authority Campus or GWCCA Campus. Here are some of the very unique things you will find on the campus.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium

The campus includes a Super Bowl stadium that is also used as a meeting venue. Mercedes-Benz Stadium hosted Super Bowl LIII and has provides an upscale event venue for plenty of meetings. Whether the meetings happen inside one of the many spaces in the stadium are right down on the field, this venue is incredibly unique and one unlike any other in the country.

World-Class Entertainment Steps from Hotel Rooms

Those attending the events as the GWCCA will enjoy a short walk to world-class entertainment. The location is very close to so many attritions, such as the Georgia Aquarium, CNN Studios and the World of Coca-Cola. IN addition, the College Football Hall of Fame is close to the campus and so is the Chick-fil-A Fan Experience.

Many of the top attractions found on or near the campus also double as event spaces. You can have your event at a top attraction or just visit the many Atlanta attractions when you come for an event.

Centennial Olympic Park, Re-invented

This 21-acre green and outdoor space is found right in the center of Atlanta. It was the host of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games and it’s going to be re-invented. The plans show a pedestrian gateway, expanded amphitheater, additional parking and so much more. In total, Centennial Olympic Park is getting a $27 million re-invention to make it a focal point of the campus.

Incredible Exhibit Space

The multi-use expansion hall at the GWCCA will soon become more than one million square feet of contiguous exhibit space. It’s a part of the 2020 Vison plan and will provide a great place for some of the largest industry events.

Brand New Luxury Hotel

The Atlanta Convention Campus will also have a new luxury hotel with more than 1,000 rooms. This luxurious hotel will replace the old Georgia Dome and will provide an on-campus hotel filled with luxury. It will be a four-star property and one of the sleekest hotels in the city.

Easy Access to Hotels

The Convention Campus location offers easy access to nearly 12,000 hotel rooms found within six area hotels. These hotels are found close enough for attendees to easily get to and from the meetings they need to be at.

Walkable

The GWCCA is walkable and offers plenty of easy access to the best Atlanta has to offer. In addition, its’ close enough to MARTA and the airport for attendees to enjoy even more of the city when they come for an event.

There’s so much to be excited about when it comes to the convention campus in Atlanta. It’s quickly becoming one of the best in the nation and the new features coming soon will only make it better.
