Victoria Estates is a prestigious neighborhood located in DeKalb County, Atlanta, just north of Emory University. Parks & Recreation

Hahn Woods Park – Emory University’s trustees transformed this 4.7-acre former landfill into a green space in 1993 (then called the T. Marshall Hahn Jr. Commemorative Forest). The lower trail borders the South Fork of Peachtree Creek along the north and west sides of the trail.

Mason Mill Park –  120-acre park only a five minute drive away.   Home to the Dekalb Tennis center and pickle ball court.  There are miles of paved wooded trails for walking and running that connects to Medlock Park and Emory University.  There is a large playground,  a community garden and a recreation center.

Ira B Melton Park –  A woodsy escape only a five minute drive from the neighborhood, suitable for forest strolls or even mountain biking.  A popular place to hike and jog with a 0.8 mile loop trail.

Kitterige Park-  A two acre park with a pool, basketball/softball field, & trails to hike, bike and run.

Dining and Shopping

The shopping district of Toco Hills is located at the intersection of North Druid Hills and La Vista Roads and is walking distance from Victoria Estates.  Toco Hills offers convenience plus a unique mix of local and national retail brands.  You can find health and wellness options and two major grocery stores.  This community retail center is also home to chef-driven restaurants, where there is something for every palate.

Education

School-age children in Victoria Estates have access to a range of quality educational options in the DeKalb County School district.  Students attend Briar Vista Elementary, Druid Hills Middle School, or Druid Hills High School.  Additionally, there are several outstanding private schools in the area, such as Cloverleaf School, Intown Community School, and the Ben Franklin Academy, which is situated on the Emory Grounds.
